Persona Name: J'qu
Birthingday:Month 8, Day 1
Rank/Craft: Journeyman Healer/Weyrling
Current Location: Leyhan weyr
Place of birth: Telgar Hold
Identifying marks: The tip of his left pointer finger is missing, due to an accident with a scalpel.
Appearance: A tall, handsome young man. Jaqu stands at a little over 6'4", and he's broad in the shoulder and slim at the waist. He has finely arched eyebrows that sit over mischievous emerald green eyes, and a strong roman nose. High, almost delicate cheek bones only serve to accentuate the strong curve of his jaw. Jaqu's smile is a handsome one, and he speaks in a melodious tenor voice that's just perfect for charming the ladies. His hair is a burnished copper red, and he keeps it neatly trimmed, though it does have its own slight, natural curl. His skin is evenly tanned, though not very dark, and is a wonderful golden-bronze hue.
Jaqu always dressed with immaculate, yet careless precision. Everything in his wardrobe matches most everything else, and all are in colours that accentuate his good looks.
Personality: A ladies man. He's charming, witty, funny, smart, and handsome. What more could a woman want? Jaqu is quite familiar with members of the female persuasion, and exercises his abilities frequently. Despite this, he isn't a complete jerk; he makes it abundantly clear to the woman that he wants no emotional strings. He's simply in it for the pleasure.
To the rest of the weyr populace, he's a polite young man and an excellent healer-in-training. Jaqu takes his craft very seriously, and is very adept at it.
History: Born and raised at Telgar Hold. Jaqu's life growing up was pretty uneventful. He and his sibling played with the other hold children, did their chores, and minded their parents.
When each child reached thirteen turns, though, they were expected to choose a craft to apprentice to. All of his brothers chose the smith or beastcrafts, while his sisters tended to favour weaving, harping, or some form of healing.
Jaqu was the only son to follow the Healer craft, and apprenticed to the Telgar Healers Hall when he was of the right age. Here, he found his calling in life, and progressed through his studies with almost negligent ease. He walked the tables as a Journeyman shortly after his seventeenth turn, and began teaching some classes.
When news spread about crafters needed for a new weyr in the south, Jaqu was reluctant. He was perfectly happy where he was, and didn't want to leave. His Master, though, felt differently, and insisted that he take his Journeyman's post there. Finally, Jaqu acquiesced, and made the move to Leyhan Weyr.
It was a move he never regretted. His skills were well needed at the new weyr, and he never found himself wont for company. He does miss his family, but intends to either bring them south or get a fire lizard to deliver messages for him.
Description: A perfectly average-sized brown dragonet, Rixaguth carries himself like he's the best thing to ever hatch from an egg. He is very royal in appearance, the strong shape of his head and slight curl of his eyeridges making it seem like he is looking down on everyone, no matter his hatchling stature. His hide is a light cinnamon brown throughout, darkening a bit at the tip of his muzzle.
Rixaguth is, in his opinion, the best. 'The best what?', you might ask. The answer is simple: everything. He's the best dragon, the best brown, the best color, has the best rider...you get the picture. This brown has the ego of a bronze, no doubt about it. He's a bit self-centered, preferring to take charge as often as possible, which could cause trouble later on when his bronze clutchmates start asserting themselves.
